In the 2nd match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Mendes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Félix Torres hit a great ball. Abel Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Paraíba in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Tiago Cosme got a free kick in the 12th minute. Abel Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute MAZER SAF were awarded a corner. Lucas Veríssimo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Laércio Paraíba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agua Santa's Abel Paes did a great save. In the 18th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Carlos-Armando Valderrama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Abel Paes made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, João Pedro Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agua Santa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAZER SAF the free kick. João Pedro Gaspar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Abel Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Garro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 31 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Gaspar. 32 minutes into the game, MAZER SAF's Laércio Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Paes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Carlos-Armando Valderrama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agua Santa's Abel Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Carlos-Armando Valderrama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAZER SAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos-Armando Valderrama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Igor Coronado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Paes. Agua Santa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Coronado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Laércio Paraíba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Paes. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio Paraíba to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Paraíba went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Abel Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Garro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Garro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Abel Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Abel Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Paraíba in the 72nd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Abel Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Rodrigo Garro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Paes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Emerson Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hermínio Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Rodrigo Garro made a precise shot to the right of Abel Paes. Agua Santa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Abel Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Coronado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Carlos-Armando Valderrama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Coronado came free, but Abel Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ernani Valladares hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the MAZER SAF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
