Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Artur Laguna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diguinho Vargas, made in the 7th minute of the game. In the 11th minute Coritiba Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner. Daniel Garcia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Garcia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro did a great save. Toninho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Carlos Eduardo Dracena got a free kick in the 16th minute. Conrado Paraibano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 18 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Thiago Machado took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Toninho Pinheiro to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute, Thiago Machado made a precise shot to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 26th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Daniel Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toninho Pinheiro was a little too slow when Thiago Machado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Machado in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Pinheiro saved DENVER™ from getting behind. Thiago Machado took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Toninho Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Machado's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Adrianinho Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Daniel Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 73rd play minutes Fausto Romero shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Toninho Pinheiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Diguinho Vargas made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Carlos Eduardo Dracena. 83 minutes into the match, Fausto Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Romero in the 92nd minute of the match. Toninho Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Coritiba Foot Ball Club fully deserved thier win.
