In the 8th minute, Bene Animatus's Leandro Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adilson das Neves. Adilson das Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Leandro Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Adilson das Neves however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Zanette came free, but Juvenal Talló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Talló read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Gonçalo Mattos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Juvenal Talló didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aurora FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Velloso in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Facundo Putin hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Aníbal Pernambucano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juvenal Talló. Bene Animatus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Aurora FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aníbal Pernambucano hit a great ball. Thiago Botelho hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Leandro Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Leandro Fonseca put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adilson das Neves. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jardel Velloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurora FC's Adilson das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 59th minute of play. Cícero Leite hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Fonseca in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adilson das Neves saved Aurora FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Velloso in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 70th minute of play forced Aurora FC's goalkeeper Adilson das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Leandro Fonseca put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adilson das Neves. In the 77th minute Leandro Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jardel Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson das Neves was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bene Animatus fully deserved thier win.
