The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uran Salero in the 4th minute of play forced Freestylers's goalkeeper Andre Myszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Myszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Gergori, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Andre Myszka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uran Salero went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Luís Fernando Díaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Erlantz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute Hugo Feldhofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Myszka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Rocendo in the 24th minute of the match. Andre Myszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uran Salero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uran Salero struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Andre Myszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cura del Futbol. Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Schuster in the 28th minute of play. Andre Myszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uran Salero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Arbogast in the 35th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Eriberto Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Georg Arbogast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Cristian Abadia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Gergori to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans-Joachim Harneit made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Heiko Gräber however managed to control. Andre Myszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Gergori in the 53rd minute of play. Fatih Arendt was slow to take the kick. During this time Freestylers's players had a chance to rest. The throw-in from Hans-Joachim Harneit in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cura del Futbol's Gerardo Malvin. In the 66th minute Cura del Futbol were awarded a corner. Cristian Abadia went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Feldhofer in the 68th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Eriberto Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freestylers's Dirk Schlager was substituted for Lars Schuster. In the 72nd minute of the game Heiko Gräber made a throw-in which Dirk Schlager played forward. 74 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Feldhofer came free, but Eriberto Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Freestylers's goalkeeper Andre Myszka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uran Salero. 79 minutes into the game, Hugo Feldhofer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eriberto Erlantz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans-Joachim Harneit kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Freestylers made a substitution. Dominik Breckheimer replaced Hugo Feldhofer. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Freestylers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Joachim Harneit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Luís Fernando Díaz made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Erlantz. Cura del Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Cura del Futbol's attentive Gerardo Malvin managed to snatch the ball when Hans-Joachim Harneit made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Cura del Futbol's Natalio Gergori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andre Myszka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Freestylers's Luís Fernando Díaz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Freestylers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cura del Futbol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
