If Godofredo Pirazzoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Pirazzoli in the 3rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper 姚战桑 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Aros. 8 minutes into the game, Tomas Levander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Silvio Lastarria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvio Lastarria was a little too slow when Tomas Levander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Tomas Levander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Levander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Maurín Angulo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Silvio Lastarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Levander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Levander came free, but Silvio Lastarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Godofredo Pirazzoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Pirazzoli in the 23rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper 姚战桑 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Dibarrart. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Levander in the 29th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Silvio Lastarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Levander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Lastarria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Tuan Lovell kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund's 姚战桑 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Pirazzoli in the 35th minute of play. If Tomas Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Borussia Dortmund's Tomas Levander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvio Lastarria. Silvio Lastarria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Levander in the 41st minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Silvio Lastarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Hudson Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the Magallanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Pirazzoli to make the kick off. Maximiliano Ossa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Tomas Levander made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Lastarria was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Tomas Levander notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Magallanes's Silvio Lastarria. Silvio Lastarria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Magallanes defense, Tomas Levander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Lastarria. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Lastarria should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes, Maurín Angulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magallanes and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. Borussia Dortmund's Zbyszko Kapinos was substituted for Damiano Grossi. Silvio Lastarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emesto Llames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Ossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Levander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Lastarria having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's Tomas Levander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Lastarria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zbyszko Kapinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Dibarrart to maneuver through the defense. Yakup Sargut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvio Lastarria. Magallanes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Godofredo Pirazzoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Ossa to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Zbyszko Kapinos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There was no doubt that Borussia Dortmund were the better team. Borussia Dortmund's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
