In the 7th minute, Anthon Mellbad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edmílson Arantes hit a great ball. Garnier Rusterholz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sílvio Luiz Quirino. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Anthon Mellbad got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Sílvio Luiz Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garnier Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Dorival Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garnier Rusterholz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Cardozo in the 82nd minute of the match. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Simeon Andreychin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Norberto Vergílio, made in the 85th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Téo Massa put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Simão Cunha.
