Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Naike in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Filomeno Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniël Isla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's Filomeno Bladi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Tiburcio Quinteros replaced Fulgencio Xabel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Bladi in the 64th managed to get into a good position.
