In the 4th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Pirro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Jim Morrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Montrell in the 15th minute. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Morrison in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Van Der Veecken in the 20th minute of play forced Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jim Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kraig Fred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Björnberg having to make a save. Anton Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Iaki in the 30th minute of the match. Kraig Fred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Björnberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 35th minute of play forced Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes Naboonga Wild Katt FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximo Dei who took care of the corner kick.

In the 52nd minute, Kraig Fred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Björnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jim Morrison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Ranolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Silban in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Jim Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jim Morrison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Ranolfo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quentin Francis in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Ranolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Anton Björnberg got control of the ball when Concetto Trasatti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Quentin Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Raymundo in the 90th minute of play. Estudiantes de América were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Naboonga Wild Katt FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximo Dei took the corner. Maximo Dei made a great header on Estudiantes de América's corner, it was just that Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Anton Björnberg managed to reach the ball for a save.
