In the 8th minute Leonardo Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Kirkpatrick came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Karlo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rhys Dimmock came out and tried to block the shot, but Aureliano Karlo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dawid Beckham hit a great ball. Rhys Dimmock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aureliano Karlo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. Aureliano Karlo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Rhys Dimmock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lane in the 34th minute of play. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Zamalek FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Aureliano Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal and Aureliano Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Lane to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Aureliano Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal and Aureliano Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 59 minutes of play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Aureliano Karlo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rhys Dimmock was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 62nd minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rhys Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rhys Dimmock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Karlo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rhys Dimmock. Rhys Dimmock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Rhys Dimmock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Jann Bernickow replaced Tytus Banaszak. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zack Grier hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Karlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Dimmock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 88th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zamalek FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jann Bernickow got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
