Piotr Lech came out of the goal and Teofil Labus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renan Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Snaza in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Rosiewicz hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Patryk Snaza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's Renan Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of The Irons Chorzów booed when KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Zdzislaw Grajewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's Renan Salgado did a great save. After the first half The Irons Chorzów were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Renan Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Bartelak in the 54th minute of the match. KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Ruszczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Lech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zdzislaw Grajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Irons Chorzów eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
