After a rather tough play, Caresalzinho SS's Ernesto Loyola got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Hugo Palmeira came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Adolfo Iban. But to his dismay, Adolfo Iban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jaime Oxel scored 2-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Jaime Oxel got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Adolfo Iban came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Iban couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Oxel got free with Hugo Palmeira in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Oxel's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. A collision led to Caresalzinho SS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luciano Branco hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Iban kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Palmeira. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. A collision led to Caresalzinho SS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ernesto Loyola hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Monteiro to make the kick off. Hugo Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Oxel in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Caresalzinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Indalecio in the 57th minute of the match. Jaime Oxel scored 5-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the match Eulalio Ellande shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Palmeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Caresalzinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Oxel came free, but Hugo Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Caresalzinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Félix to maneuver through the defense. Caresalzinho SS's attentive Caetano Soares managed to snatch the ball when Paulo Poncio made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Paulo Poncio hit a great ball. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when DREAM TEAM WORLD's Moises Urtsin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Caresalzinho SS defense, Moises Urtsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Palmeira. The Caresalzinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Palmeira should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Sydney Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caresalzinho SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DREAM TEAM WORLD the free kick.
