AKDmicos FC's Nemesio Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Martin Istad in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Abecia in the 13th minute of play forced Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Rafe in the 15th minute of play. When AKDmicos FC's Angelino Abecia in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of AKDmicos FC booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Cuarto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans-Martin Istad kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Masters United F.C.'s Hans-Martin Istad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nemesio Jaen. That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Rafe to make the kick off.
