The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

LA LUZ F.C.'s Dalmacio Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Lon in the 69th minute of play. Eusebio Gorosti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Baudelio having to interfere. Cable a Tierra's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Baudelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cable a Tierra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cable a Tierra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
