Albino Viviano started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Tello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tello AFC's Dionisio Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Tello AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Norberto Geofredo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dionisio Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Viviano in the 12th minute of play. Baltasar Meder came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Tello AFC's Emilio Colas. But to his dismay, Emilio Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Norberto Geofredo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. David Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Tello AFC's Dionisio Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Montes in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ignacio Cayo hit a great ball. David Hustaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Meder. Leones FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Albino Viviano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dionisio Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 40 minutes, Bartolo Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albino Viviano might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Matia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Viviano ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Emilio Colas made the kick off in the second half. Lucio Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Marcelino Etxahun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tello AFC and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Marcelino Etxahun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Ignacio Cayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Matia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Emilio Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Jordy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dionisio Matia. Tello AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Balendin in the 65th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Dionisio Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Norberto Geofredo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Norberto Geofredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute Elpidio Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Dunixi. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
