If Ruben Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, ATLETICO MENDOZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Inocente having to interfere. Nicolas Inocente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Dolfo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Rodolfo Goito hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Estevez to make the kick off. Angelino Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Pirmin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ruben Dolfo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolas Inocente firmly grabbed it by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Ruben Dolfo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nicolas Inocente. Nicolas Inocente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Gallardeta's Rodolfo Goito got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Severo Satordi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATLETICO MENDOZA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Gallardeta the free kick. ATLETICO MENDOZA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Leonides Pancho scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Inocente, making the score, 0-3. Nicolas Inocente made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ruben Dolfo sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Dolfo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Nicolas Inocente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
