With a little luck, Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery got control of the ball when Arias Baltanas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Arias Baltanas lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ignacio Valery. After 15 minutes Eigtheenstars 2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Gaizko who took care of the corner kick. The corner led TIBURON F.C's Anselmo Gaizko to fire away a dangerous shot which Ignacio Valery despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emanuel Ceandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Lope in the 20th minute of play. Ignacio Valery made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Clemente Azeari sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Azeari got free with Ignacio Valery in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Bastos in the 22nd minute of play forced Eigtheenstars 2's goalkeeper Ignacio Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, TIBURON F.C's Mathias Bastos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Eigtheenstars 2 from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

TIBURON F.C's Geronimo Vincent was substituted for He Yi Xun. The wind increased when Mathias Bastos made the kick off in the second half. Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Vincent in the 53rd minute of play.
