Pogoń Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Desperados Szczecin the free kick. The supporters of Los Desperados Szczecin booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Cerocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The Los Desperados Szczecin manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pogoń Szczecin to win.
