The supporters of Honung booed when NovaStella FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Henry Roos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, NovaStella FK's Sivert Borre got a free kick in the 9th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Ergener came free, but Benne M'ghirbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Manfredo Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 24th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Benne M'ghirbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benne M'ghirbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Pantelimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Benne M'ghirbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Lorien in the 32nd minute of the match. Alfredo Piermattei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fredrik Nyberg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Piermattei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fredrik Nyberg. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Honung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Ennegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Roos to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Lidberg in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benne M'ghirbi saved Honung from getting behind. In the 56th minute of the match, Arif Çelebi Ergener tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benne M'ghirbi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Honung's Angel Lehoi was substituted for Johan Kilström. Fredrik Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Lehoi in the 62nd minute of the match. Benne M'ghirbi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 63rd minute. Benne M'ghirbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Pantelimon in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Borre. Fredrik Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Lertora, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Fredrik Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Lertora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Simon Lertora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Marcu Pantelimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne M'ghirbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sivert Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Lorien in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benne M'ghirbi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fredrik Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Lehoi in the 91st minute of the match.
