Spectators: 461 (Terracing: 346, Seating: 106, VIP seats: 9) Cristinel Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Varga in the 4th minute of play. Cristinel Zdrobiş was a little too slow when Vasile Pacuraru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Narcis Trapcea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Trapcea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristinel Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Varga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vasile Pacuraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horea Varga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Gligor during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Gligor to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Pacuraru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristinel Zdrobiş firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th minute of the match Fotbal Club Vaslui got a corner. Scorpions -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucian Mușătescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucian Mușătescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristinel Zdrobiş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horea Varga in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristinel Zdrobiş saved Scorpions -MM- from getting behind. Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Ionuț Lunca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scorpions -MM-'s Augustin Radu pulled a muscle in his back after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Trapcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Pacuraru got free with Cristinel Zdrobiş in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristinel Zdrobiş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasile Pacuraru in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Varga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucian Mușătescu's late challenge caught a Scorpions -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Mușătescu helped the player get up and apologised. Horea Varga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Zdrobiş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Vasile Pacuraru put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristinel Zdrobiş. In the 67th minute Narcis Trapcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Vasile Pacuraru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Gligor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vasile Pacuraru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Zdrobiş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Sever Fetea got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Cristian Crăciunaș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narcis Trapcea hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
