The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Stout showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Rodolfo Caldas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Ralf Hoekstra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's King Duarte didn't even have to move. Alexandre Veríssimo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Stout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 29 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Post. The audience was convinced that Christijan Oss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but King Duarte was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Virgílio Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Decathlon Dudes's Christijan Oss got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralf Hoekstra hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Hoekstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Stout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Veríssimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Don Duarte made a kick off. King Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Oss in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Decathlon Dudes's David Stout got control of the ball when Don Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christijan Oss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Diderik Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Diderik Dirks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. King Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Bento Modesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Decathlon Dudes the free kick. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bento Modesto hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Alfred Brandsma suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Nuno Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Nuno Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Decathlon Dudes made a substitution. Mario Gentenaar replaced Alfred Brandsma. Nuno Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. King Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christijan Oss's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. King Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Hoekstra in the 87th minute of play. Ralf Hoekstra kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Nuno Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
