The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christijan Oss who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Straube when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christijan Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Manuel Straube made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Decathlon Dudes's Christijan Oss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Straube. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Richter in the 19th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper David Stout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christijan Oss struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Straube didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Decathlon Dudes. Feddo Tiedemann kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Ralf Hoekstra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Straube showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manuel Straube didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christijan Oss went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ralf Hoekstra kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Diderik Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Diderik Dirks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Straube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SV Bad Harzburg's Manuel Straube proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the game, Christijan Oss lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Manuel Straube. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Christijan Oss put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Straube. Manuel Straube was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ralf Hoekstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Straube made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Dirks in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Decathlon Dudes were the better team. Decathlon Dudes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
