In the 3rd minute Martino Armona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wylie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Walter Wylie in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. St.Mirren's Walter Wylie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save St.Mirren from getting a goal against them. Edward Begg hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Walter Wylie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Enrique Cassaretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th play minute Enrique Cassaretto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walter Wylie. 1-0. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Wylie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, St.Mirren's Walter Wylie got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walter Wylie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 34th minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Wylie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, St.Mirren's Walter Wylie got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Federico Puja in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by St.Mirren's Edward Begg. St.Mirren's Edward Begg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Federico Puja in the 43 minute of the game. Taylor Drysdale hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Walter Wylie was a little too slow when Enrique Cassaretto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stevie McAlonie to strike the kick off in the second half. St.Mirren's Walter Wylie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martino Armona in the 54th minute of play. Walter Wylie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. CD Municipal made a substitution. Oalo Dean replaced Enrique Cassaretto. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Zlatan Molina. 72 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Oalo Dean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Wylie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when St.Mirren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevie McAlonie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Oalo Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wylie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Ryota Miyagi sped through St.Mirren's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Wylie. Oalo Dean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Wylie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Ryota Miyagi made a precise shot to the right of Walter Wylie. St.Mirren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There was no doubt that CD Municipal were the better team. CD Municipal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
