The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierce MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Theobald Taylor came free, but Tobias Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Pepillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theobald Taylor's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Pierce MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Poling in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon Hutton came free, but Tobias Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Brannon Hutton in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boruc Poling got free with Pierce MaCollin in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Powerstown's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Jaroslaw Niezgoda scored to the left of an out of position Pierce MaCollin, making the score, 1-0. Pierce MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 21st minute of the match. Powerstown's Timmons McDecland quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Percival Cabral, made in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Powerstown's Alex Grant got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Powerstown's Pierce MaCollin got control of the ball when Chicão Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Boruc Poling notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Powerstown's Pierce MaCollin. Pierce MaCollin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chicão Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pierce MaCollin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Powerstown's Timmons McDecland got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Pierce MaCollin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaroslaw Niezgoda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. Chicão Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chicão Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pierce MaCollin made a huge save. Boruc Poling scored 4-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierce MaCollin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Chicão Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierce MaCollin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brannon Hutton was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Powerstown getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gearroid McStephen hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Chicão Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compostela FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Boruc Poling came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Compostela FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Poling couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Naldo Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierce MaCollin. Powerstown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naldo Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierce MaCollin saved Powerstown from getting behind. Pierce MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Cerezo in the 65th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Compostela FSCMZ's Mauro Paulista tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Chicão Cerezo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierce MaCollin. Powerstown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chicão Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 79th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda made a precise shot to the right of Pierce MaCollin. Powerstown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. 82 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Niezgoda notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Powerstown's Pierce MaCollin. Pierce MaCollin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pierce MaCollin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Alex Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Compostela FSCMZ's Claudinei Veiga was substituted for Percival Cabral. After a rather tough play, Powerstown's Alex Grant got a free kick in the 90th minute. Chicão Cerezo scored 12-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierce MaCollin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Compostela FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
