Christopher Reimann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Themis Papadimoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 15 minutes S.João de Areias's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zsolt Székely who took care of the corner kick. In the 16th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Themis Papadimoulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. S.João de Areias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Themis Papadimoulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis. But to his dismay, Themis Papadimoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. S.João de Areias's attentive Torcato Boaventura managed to snatch the ball when Lv Kun Liang made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29thth minute of the game Themis Papadimoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis. But to his dismay, Themis Papadimoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, S.João de Areias's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Papadimoulis came free, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to VfL Bad Nenndorf's Armand Callahan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Torcato Boaventura hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Themis Papadimoulis made the kick off in the second half. Róbert Štriker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ferenc van Nistelrooij managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.João de Areias's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferenc van Nistelrooij was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Reimann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zsolt Székely made a great header on VfL Bad Nenndorf's corner, it was just that S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç managed to reach the ball for a save. S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Lv Kun Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Papadimoulis in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yusuf Ziya Sertaç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Themis Papadimouliss short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Yusuf Ziya Sertaç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Themis Papadimoulis sped through S.João de Areias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. Themis Papadimouliss short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Yusuf Ziya Sertaç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 87thth minute of the game Themis Papadimoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Themis Papadimoulis took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. In the 95th minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. The VfL Bad Nenndorf players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
