In the 2nd minute, Leonard Sinuraya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fadh Ie came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cavallino Rampante II's Wilfredo Leoiar. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Leoiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Cavallino Rampante II getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ceferino Ioritz hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Hu Shu Ming had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fadh Ie. Penang Island's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hu Shu Ming was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fadh Ie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Haikal Sitepu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penang Island's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavallino Rampante II the free kick. A collision led to Penang Island getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Haikal Sitepu hit a great ball. Andra Barus kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Fadh Ie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Shu Ming in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andra Barus during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andra Barus hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ceferino Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djati Simamora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Penang Island's Fadh Ie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Matai in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bulek Idris to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Wilfredo Leoiar made a precise shot to the right of Fadh Ie. Penang Island's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Gendo Waluyo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Fadh Ie was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Ceferino Ioritz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ceferino Ioritz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ceferino Ioritz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Wilfredo Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Baldomiro Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cavallino Rampante II made a substitution. Fabian Jarosiewicz replaced Ceferino Ioritz. After 72 played minutes Cavallino Rampante II got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Domeka. 75 minutes into the match, Fabian Jarosiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fadh Ie. Penang Island's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Jarosiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Jarosiewicz in the 89th minute of play forced Penang Island's goalkeeper Fadh Ie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goal looked a bit too open when Djati Simamora came free, but Ernesto Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cavallino Rampante II booed when Penang Island was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haryanto Simamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fadh Ie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Penang Island's Fadh Ie got control of the ball when Jonas Olivar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cavallino Rampante II's Jonas Olivar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 96th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cavallino Rampante II's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
