Carlos Van Lint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thodoris Krezias, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Omar Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Milagro Sobre Césped's zone, Chu Zhen Xun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Van Lint came out of the goal and Chu Zhen Xun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Kornel Brahm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Van Lint was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Matthis Paelemans sped through Milagro Sobre Césped's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Van Lint. Carlos Van Lint came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Chu Zhen Xun. But to his dismay, Chu Zhen Xun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 27 minutes, Kornel Brahm made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Milagro Sobre Césped getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Flavio Otsoa hit a great ball. Kornel Brahm was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Thodoris Krezias notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint. Carlos Van Lint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, Matthis Paelemans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Carlos Van Lint was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Hug was the one to do the kick off. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Matthis Paelemans got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Van Lint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Krezias in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Milagro Sobre Césped's goal looked a bit too open when Kornel Brahm came free, but Carlos Van Lint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Van Lint didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthis Paelemans went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Chu Zhen Xun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. Carlos Van Lint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthis Paelemans in the 68th minute of the match. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. made a substitution. Abubakar Kamarád replaced Chu Zhen Xun. Abubakar Kamarád could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Carlos Van Lint made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Abubakar Kamarád hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Abubakar Kamarád was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Abubakar Kamarád blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Van Lint having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Matthis Paelemans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Van Lint. That made the score 0-16 after 82 minutes of play. Abubakar Kamarád received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Van Lint came out and tried to block the shot, but Abubakar Kamarád slotted it home off the left post making it 0-17 in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Aris Keskeridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
