When Ezequiel Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dois Irmãos F. C.'s protests and gave Ezequiel Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Șerban Culiță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrézinho Pinheiro. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arí Ribeiro during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Curuțiu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Pinheiro saved Dois Irmãos F. C. from getting behind.
