Jass Mäetamm had several of the invictus's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Sérgio Cearense as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sérgio Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eiko Noorpea in the 11th minute of play. Amílton Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Tauri Eerik came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sérgio Cearense could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as cruzados de gloria's Jass Mäetamm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sérgio Cearense. That made the score 3-0 after 17 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the game, Abelardo Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. cruzados de gloria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave invictus the free kick. The supporters of invictus booed when cruzados de gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tauri Eerik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio Cearense firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute invictus were awarded a corner. Serafim Mattos went to the cornerflag to take it. Claudinei Tróia made a great header on invictus's corner, it was just that cruzados de gloria's Gabriel Arias managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Carioca in the 29th minute of play forced cruzados de gloria's goalkeeper Gabriel Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match cruzados de gloria got a corner. invictus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tauri Eerik ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tauri Eerik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Cearense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Jass Mäetamm put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Cearense. Jass Mäetamm scored 5-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. invictus's Sérgio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jass Mäetamm in the 40th minute of play. Sérgio Cearense made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jass Mäetamm sent off a good shot on target.

The audience was convinced that Jass Mäetamm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Cearense was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jass Mäetamm in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Cearense saved invictus from getting behind. Sérgio Cearense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jass Mäetamm's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Tauri Eerik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
