After taking down the ball on Braga Junior FC's corner Cido Araújo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Johan Ahlqvist quite easily take care of the ball. Brickeen Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Matorin in the 15th minute of the match. Müjdat Atasan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Brickeen Wall made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enginalp Kayaalp in the 23rd minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Dante Peruanton got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Enginalp Kayaalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Adrian Mutu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Mutu to make the kick off. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Mutu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saved Black Rose 1979 from getting behind. Black Rose 1979 were furious when Sebastian Enekoitz was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Black Rose 1979:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Braga Junior FC:s goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Braga Junior FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
