Radowit Szel hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Claudio Sciotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witold Pryputnicki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Colangelo having to make a save. If Claudio Sciotto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Procopio Trespalacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Prandini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Aldo Prandini notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios. Procopio Trespalacios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Witold Pryputnicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Fausto Colangelo made a huge save. Pierre-Emmanuel Agostini kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Claudio Sciotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Claudio Sciotto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Procopio Trespalacios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pierre-Emmanuel Agostini was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. Pierre-Emmanuel Agostini kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Aurelio Ippoliti, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 38th minute Anfilogino Stefano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castelnuovo were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Spartans Lodz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anfilogino Stefano took the corner. Anfilogino Stefano charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino Stefano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spartans Lodz booed when Castelnuovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Stefano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwan Ostrowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Colangelo. Castelnuovo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
After 54 played minutes Spartans Lodz got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Ostrowski. Procopio Trespalacios was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anfilogino Stefano. Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Prandini in the 60th minute of play. Procopio Trespalacios was a little too slow when Aldo Prandini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-3. Castelnuovo made a substitution. Ferdinando Albertosi replaced Comunardo Barillari. Anfilogino Stefano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match, Aldo Prandini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Procopio Trespalacios saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ulryk Wicherek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Aldo Prandini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Spartans Lodz getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Herbert Gozdowski hit a great ball. Claudio Sciotto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Sciotto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Procopio Trespalacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Castelnuovo's Claudio Sciotto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Procopio Trespalacios. Procopio Trespalacios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 91st minute, Herbert Gozdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Procopio Trespalacios came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Castelnuovo's Aldo Prandini. But to his dismay, Aldo Prandini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 95th minute, Castelnuovo's Alfonso Catini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Procopio Trespalacios. Procopio Trespalacios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Castelnuovo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spartans Lodz.
