The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dawang Daranciang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sergio Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jess Dalaque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Fleet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Zammit came free, but Cherry Bonzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25th play minutes Acácio Oliveira shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Cherry Bonzon and just under the crossbar into goal. El Millo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fleet FC the free kick. In the 36th minute of the match Philip Gener shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Caton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sergio Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawang Daranciang in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Jess Dalaque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Dalaque in the 40th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawang Daranciang to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in El Millo's zone, Dawang Daranciang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Caton came out of the goal and Dawang Daranciang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dawang Daranciang in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Caton saved El Millo from getting behind. In the 59th minute Acácio Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cherry Bonzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes Fleet FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Acácio Oliveira who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fleet FC's goalie and right to Aigisthos Farmakis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fleet FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fleet FC's Cherry Bonzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Mambru in the 68th minute of play. Acácio Oliveira took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cherry Bonzon. Cherry Bonzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 73rd minute, Marcelo Evangelista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cherry Bonzon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Nathan Tagasa's late challenge caught a El Millo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathan Tagasa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Nathan Tagasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Fleet FC got a freekick which was hit by Pinong Magbitang. When Salvador Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the El Millo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Mambru couldn't finish the play. Acácio Oliveira succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nginamz Binotapa during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fleet FC's Nginamz Binotapa got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Aigisthos Farmakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Millo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
