Meia Boca Juniors's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Xiang Lin in the 4th minute of play. Mans's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eusébio Cosme in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Eusébio Cosme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Meia Boca Juniors's David Seaman did a great save. With a little luck, Mans's Erdinç Yalgın got control of the ball when Alexandre De Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Meia Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roben Petralanda in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Alfredão da Costa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mans's Erdinç Yalgın did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre De Moraes got free with Erdinç Yalgın in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Juarês Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meia Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mans the free kick. The supporters of Mans booed when Meia Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Mans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Côme Collet to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Meia Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Cosme came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Xiang Lin in the 18th minute of play forced Meia Boca Juniors's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Mans got a corner. Meia Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusébio Cosme ran over to the corner to take the kick. 24 minutes into the match, Meia Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Su Xiang Lin came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Ernani Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yalgın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léonard Beauchamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mans's Léonard Beauchamp got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Su Xiang Lin made a precise shot to the right of David Seaman. Meia Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Su Xiang Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Su Xiang Lin made the kick off in the second half. David Seaman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Su Xiang Lin's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Nilton Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Meia Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Léonard Beauchamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Seaman having to interfere. Su Xiang Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, one of Mans:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ernani Mesquita hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Mans's Teobald Gondek was substituted for Faustin Truffaut. After 72 played minutes Meia Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Mesquita. A collision led to Meia Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Caco Pombal hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre De Moraes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erdinç Yalgın saved Mans from getting behind. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Cosme in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Mans's Côme Collet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mans played a much better game than Meia Boca Juniors and deserved their victory. The Meia Boca Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
