But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Lastur couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, TORQUE F.C.'s Elpidio Bilintx got control of the ball when Santos Mouricio tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ieltxu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Gerazan saved C.A. Soldados del Señor from getting behind. 17 minutes into the game, Cristian Ieltxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Delmar Gerazan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes of play, TORQUE F.C.'s Cristian Ieltxu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Gerazan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of TORQUE F.C. booed when C.A. Soldados del Señor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Gerazan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ieltxu went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cristian Ieltxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Gerazan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Ieltxu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cristian Ieltxu got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for TORQUE F.C.. Pastor Bernad hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Cordareo to make the kick off.
