Atlético Micaelense's Rúben Camargo suffered a concussion in the 2nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Atlético Micaelense's Cassiano Santarém was substituted for Rúben Camargo. In the 3rd match minute, Birtanem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenan Yavuzcan to maneuver through the defense. Murathan Şemsifer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Bettencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murathan Şemsifer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palmiro Bettencourt's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Birtanem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Van Mellart came free, but Murathan Şemsifer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Birtanem FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palmiro Bettencourt in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murathan Şemsifer saved Birtanem FC from getting behind. When Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Birtanem FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Klaus Van Mellart came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Atlético Micaelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaus Van Mellart couldn't finish the play. Palmiro Bettencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murathan Şemsifer having to make a save. The Atlético Micaelense fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Atlético Micaelense's Klaus Van Mellart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Micaelense from getting a goal against them. In the 30thth minute of the game Palmiro Bettencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes Birtanem FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geraldo Madureira who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Micaelense's corner Geraldo Madureira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Murathan Şemsifer quite easily take care of the ball. The Atlético Micaelense fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Klaus Van Mellart dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Birtanem FC's İbrahim Ethem Balısoy got a free kick in the 47th minute. Atlético Micaelense made a substitution. Edgar Sadam replaced Cássio Gaspar. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when Birtanem FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. İbrahim Ethem Balısoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geraldo Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çakabey Çağlar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Atlético Micaelense fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmiro Bettencourt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murathan Şemsifer. That made the score 0-7 in the 58 minute of play. After some careless play in the Birtanem FC defense, Jan-Erik Gråberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murathan Şemsifer. The Birtanem FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murathan Şemsifer should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 66 in the game by Palmiro Bettencourt from a close distance when the talented Murathan Şemsifer managed to make a qualified save. Birtanem FC's players were relieved. Palmiro Bettencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Murathan Şemsifer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Gråberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Palmiro Bettencourt sped through Birtanem FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murathan Şemsifer. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Palmiro Bettencourt took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Murathan Şemsifer to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer got control of the ball when Klaus Van Mellart tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Cenan Yavuzcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murathan Şemsifer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Van Mellart, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Palmiro Bettencourt put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Murathan Şemsifer. In the 83rdth minute of the game Palmiro Bettencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palmiro Bettencourts short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Murathan Şemsifer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 85thth minute of the game Palmiro Bettencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Murathan Şemsifer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geraldo Madureira. In the 91st minute, Palmiro Bettencourt made a precise shot to the right of Murathan Şemsifer. Birtanem FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Klaus Van Mellart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Murathan Şemsifer made a huge save. After 95 minutes, Palmiro Bettencourt made it 0-14 with a short kick to the right side. Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Atlético Micaelense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Birtanem FC throughout the match.
