With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palmiro Bettencourt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Ruddock saved Centre of Excellence AFC from getting behind. In the 8thth minute of the game Palmiro Bettencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centre of Excellence AFC's Denis Ruddock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Palmiro Bettencourt in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Ruddock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Centre of Excellence AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute, Palmiro Bettencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The Atlético Micaelense fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 35 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Gråberg. If Palmiro Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38th play minutes Palmiro Bettencourt shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Denis Ruddock and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 47th minute, Palmiro Bettencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Atlético Micaelense's Edgar Sadam was substituted for Cássio Gaspar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Palmiro Bettencourt to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Ruddock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Atlético Micaelense's Henrik Heiberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palmiro Bettencourt in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Ruddock saved Centre of Excellence AFC from getting behind. Klaus Van Mellart took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Ruddock. Denis Ruddock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Palmiro Bettencourt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Denis Ruddock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Palmiro Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Micaelense's supporters rose to their feet, but Palmiro Bettencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Ruddock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
