In the 31st minute, Germain Hocquet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Javier Florian, passed just outside the right post. Jean-Charles Sauvaget didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Rudolfo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
