FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlo Fuster in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduardo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. Karlo Fuster who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Pavel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduardo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Rijniers got free with Andrei Pavel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karlo Fuster received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrei Pavel came out and tried to block the shot, but Karlo Fuster slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel got control of the ball when Karlo Fuster tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pär Lilja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Pires in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Pavel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Lilja, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match ANDERLECHT got a corner. FC Fanaticii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernd Leenders ran over to the corner to take the kick. Karlo Fuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Suetens came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led ANDERLECHT's Bernd Leenders to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrei Pavel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Pär Lilja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal and Pär Lilja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Eduardo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANDERLECHT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Rijniers came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ANDERLECHT fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when ANDERLECHT's Karlo Fuster looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrei Pavel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 94 minutes of play, ANDERLECHT's Karlo Fuster made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrei Pavel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the ANDERLECHT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
