Alejandro Tena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Adan Bernaldo made a huge save. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Fonseca in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan Fonseca in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Sosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Circulo Deportivo fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Circulo Deportivo's Kauan Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Circulo Deportivo's Nestor-Raul Gorosito in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Circulo Deportivo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Efrain Cayo hit a great ball. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Fonseca in the 24th minute of the match. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Bernaldo having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Torm during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Circulo Deportivo booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Torm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastián Sosa came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Circulo Deportivo's Hélio Mattos. But to his dismay, Hélio Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauan Fonseca in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Sosa saved Vikingos FC from getting behind. Adan Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Tena in the 39th minute of play. Segundo Balendin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marco Cantona made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa got control of the ball when Kauan Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Circulo Deportivo got a corner. Vikingos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimeno Dacio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kauan Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa did a great save. Alejandro Tena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Bernaldo having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Perico to maneuver through the defense. Circulo Deportivo's Yao Bing got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adan Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingos FC's Segundo Balendin. But to his dismay, Segundo Balendin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Adan Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingos FC's Marco Cantona. But to his dismay, Marco Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 85th minute Alejandro Tena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Fonseca in the 86th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Circulo Deportivo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vikingos FC.
