Nestor de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson got control of the ball when Severo Cresencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Zoltán Újfalussy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor de Azevedo. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. Linköpings AIK's Zoltán Újfalussy got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Újfalussy in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Cresencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Caffita Team's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Újfalussy came free, but Nestor de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caffita Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Újfalussy in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Caffita Team's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Újfalussy came free, but Nestor de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Fidensio in the 61st minute of play. Caffita Team's Nestor de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Újfalussy in the 64th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Caffita Team's goalkeeper Nestor de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoltán Újfalussy. Jimmy Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Fidensio in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Zoltán Újfalussy. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Cresencio in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Zoltán Újfalussy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nestor de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Linköpings AIK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
