The corner led FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Mauricio Gonzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mihkel Äike despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 11th minute, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Celedonio Abajas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mihkel Äike made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Maximiliano Shepherd sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gaston Benino hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Shepherd in the 20th minute of play forced FC Kungla's goalkeeper Mihkel Äike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Kungla's Jüri Võsoberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. Zé Paulo Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Abajas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Mihkel Äike made a huge save. Maximiliano Shepherd who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Mihkel Äike when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Paul Põhjala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Celso Hartz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mihkel Äike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Hermes in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Celedonio Abajas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kungla's Mihkel Äike was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, FC Kungla's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Hermes came free, but Mihkel Äike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kungla's Mihkel Äike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Hermes in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Paulo Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Celedonio Abajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihkel Äike made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 84thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kungla's Mihkel Äike was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Kungla's Mihkel Äike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Shepherd in the 90th minute of play. Zé Paulo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihkel Äike having to interfere. 7-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Zé Paulo Hermes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
