Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Ricardo Telo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Telo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Aminu Taiwo made a huge save. A collision led to FC GreenWhiteGreen getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Micheal Ransome-Kuti hit a great ball. Ricardo Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Telo got free with Aminu Taiwo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Labaran Anyadubalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Hartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osa Adenuga, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 16 played minutes FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Senin. 18 minutes into the match, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's goal looked a bit too open when Labaran Anyadubalu came free, but Celso Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Labaran Anyadubalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's zone, Okoli Okiche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Hartz came out of the goal and Okoli Okiche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC GreenWhiteGreen's Aminu Taiwo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save FC GreenWhiteGreen from getting a goal against them. Celedonio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aminu Taiwo having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's goal looked a bit too open when Okoli Okiche came free, but Celso Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nwokeocha Limu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Celso Hartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GreenWhiteGreen.

Celso Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onyewuchi Obikwelu in the 53rd minute of the match. Labaran Anyadubalu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 56 played minutes FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Madaleno. In the 57th minute, Onyewuchi Obikwelu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celso Hartz, passed just outside the right post. Celso Hartz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okoli Okiche in the 60th minute. Okoli Okiche's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Celso Hartz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 63 minutes into the game, Gaston Benino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC GreenWhiteGreen the free kick. FC GreenWhiteGreen made a substitution. Ishaku Obodoechi replaced Okoli Okiche. Gaston Benino kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Aminu Taiwo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Shepherd in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Maximiliano Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Shepherd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aminu Taiwo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC GreenWhiteGreen's Ndu Ichen was substituted for Onyewuchi Obikwelu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Abajas in the 77th minute of play forced FC GreenWhiteGreen's goalkeeper Aminu Taiwo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ishaku Obodoechi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Celso Hartz. Celso Hartz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celso Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ishaku Obodoechi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Hartz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ndu Ichen's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's zone, Ishaku Obodoechi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Hartz came out of the goal and Ishaku Obodoechi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC GreenWhiteGreen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
