In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jörn Svartengren scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miki Moco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörn Svartengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miki Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Svartengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miki Moco having to make a save. Miki Moco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Ramon Alaejos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nuriana Castillo, made in the 27th minute of the game. Sebastian Hellkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xorxe Canosa went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Miki Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Inter de Guayaquil FC were awarded a corner. Salvador Musacchio went to the cornerflag to take it. If Lorenzo Acutain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Freezerpool FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Guayaquil FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xorxe Canosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jörn Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miki Moco having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Freezerpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Xorxe Canosa. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Jakub Ziombkowski replaced Victor Morales. A collision led to Freezerpool FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Xorxe Canosa hit a great ball. Miki Moco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakub Ziombkowski in the 65th minute. Matias Casco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sebastian Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freezerpool FC's Ralf Västerstrand was substituted for Xorxe Canosa. Freezerpool FC's Gordy Uchiha was substituted for Alvaro Giro. Jakub Ziombkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Humberto Barragan was substituted for Lorenzo Acutain. Freezerpool FC's Miki Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éric Cantona in the 78th minute of play. Inter de Guayaquil FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Musacchio in the 80th minute. The corner led to Inter de Guayaquil FC's Ramon Alaejos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Éric Cantona sped through Freezerpool FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miki Moco. 89 minutes into the match, Freezerpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Cantona came free, but Miki Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miki Moco made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Éric Cantona sent off a good shot on target. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Västerstrand in the 94th minute of play. Freezerpool FC's Miki Moco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Freezerpool FC from getting a goal against them. The Freezerpool FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter de Guayaquil FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
