A collision led to KN ZGORZELEC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Roy Brummer hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Elias Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Shepherd was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Wyrzykowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Elias Oihenarte made a precise shot to the right of André Courtois. Templars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 21 minutes, Elias Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KN ZGORZELEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Oihenarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Alvarenga got free with Emilio Shepherd in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Alvarenga in the 24th minute of play. André Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Oihenarte in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elias Oihenarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Courtois was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute KN ZGORZELEC were awarded a corner. Mariusz Kaleta went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilbert Gotfryd was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Oihenarte made a kick off. André Courtois made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Elias Oihenarte sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Oihenarte got free with André Courtois in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Kociniewski. Templars FC made a substitution. Jonathan Sammut replaced Jan Wyrzykowski. Osvaldo Alvarenga took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Shepherd. Emilio Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Elias Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Templars FC's André Courtois got control of the ball when Elias Oihenarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Osvaldo Alvarenga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. KN ZGORZELEC made a substitution. Kazimierz Chrobak replaced Elias Oihenarte. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Apelqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Templars FC defense, Kazimierz Chrobak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Courtois. The Templars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Courtois should have stopped the shot. Templars FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
