The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Arne Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Asserlindh in the 3rd minute of play. Ernesto Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Asserlindh in the 6th minute of the match. Ernesto Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Björnsson in the 8th minute of play. When Jacinto Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Portugália's protests and gave Jacinto Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the CA Portugália defense, Tomas Asserlindh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Vargas. The CA Portugália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Vargas should have stopped the shot. When Jacinto Nóbrega was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 23rd match minute, CA Portugália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Vargas came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by StraX Xenon FC's Kurt Nyström. But to his dismay, Kurt Nyström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ernesto Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Nyström in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Simão during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes CA Portugália got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Simão. Ernesto Vargas came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by StraX Xenon FC's Arne Nordal. But to his dismay, Arne Nordal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ernesto Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Nordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Kurt Nyström made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Vargas. CA Portugália's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Tomas Asserlindh sped through CA Portugália's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Vargas.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Nordal to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tomas Asserlindh notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of CA Portugália's Ernesto Vargas. Ernesto Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Vargas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arne Nordal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 61 minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Kurt Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StraX Xenon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the CA Portugália defense, Kurt Nyström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Vargas. The CA Portugália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Vargas should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, CA Portugália's Ernesto Vargas got control of the ball when Tomas Asserlindh tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Valdemar Emander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Asserlindh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Vargas came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Asserlindh slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 80th minute. Arne Nordal scored 0-10 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Arne Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as StraX Xenon FC's Tomas Asserlindh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Vargas. That made the score 0-11 after 88 minutes of play. Ernesto Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. StraX Xenon FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
