Jonny Mantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Soszka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Roland Soszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Mantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IGloopoL's Edward Sitko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save IGloopoL from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind IGloopoL's goalkeeper Edward Sitko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eilif Rosholm to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Odense Boldklub had won after a very even match.
