Azubeli Roman made a great header on Atlético Municipal's corner, it was just that Gyepüpataka's Tibor Guzy managed to reach the ball for a save. If Áron Szabó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibor Guzy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willie Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Oscar De León showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Atlético Municipal's Willie Colon in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gyepüpataka's goalie prevented a goal. Atlético Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Atlético Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Willie Colon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibor Guzy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willie Colons short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Tibor Guzy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Gyepüpataka getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. András Dénes hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Claude Sena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gyepüpataka's Tibor Guzy didn't even have to move. In the 47th minute Willie Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Guzy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Willie Colon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tibor Guzy was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gyepüpataka players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
