Edwin Koppen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Beppe Puce made a huge save. If Dino Baciadonne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Dino Baciadonne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coriano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Baciadonne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfried Van Gertsuyden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's goalkeeper Beppe Puce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Koppen.
