Anton Best might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over György Tóth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Best ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the game, Zalasárszeg OSE's Csaba Végvári nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute, Márió Kállai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Márió Kállai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márió Kállai in the 34th minute of play forced Newark Athletic Club's goalkeeper Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Márió Kállai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Márió Kállai sped through Newark Athletic Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Japke Bleiswijk to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márió Kállai went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Kálmán Gácsi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Csaba Végvári hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, Zalasárszeg OSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márió Kállai to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd play minute Márió Kállai came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez. 0-9. After a rather tough play, Zalasárszeg OSE's Márton Horváth got a free kick in the 79th minute. Zalasárszeg OSE's Álmos Bökönyi was substituted for Kálmán Gácsi. Zalasárszeg OSE made a substitution. Szilárd Tótfalusi replaced Csaba Végvári. Márió Kállai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Márió Kállais short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Álmos Bökönyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zalasárszeg OSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Álmos Bökönyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márió Kállai took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez. Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Reyes Huff kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Zalasárszeg OSE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
