Ale Glowaczs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Tarık Vahapoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Ale Glowacz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tarık Vahapoğlu. Tarık Vahapoğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 21st minute, Nusrettin Zeki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Basaik was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Jan Basaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusrettin Zeki, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tarık Vahapoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ale Glowacz in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Ale Glowacz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tarık Vahapoğlu. Tarık Vahapoğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Ale Glowacz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tarık Vahapoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Primus Imperatore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Basaik was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Jan Basaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Shu Zhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ale Glowacz was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Quilino to maneuver through the defense. Tarık Vahapoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ale Glowacz's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Ale Glowacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. Jan Basaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Shu Zhan in the 70th minute of play. The throw-in from Baran Alp İnanç in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Niculae Ghionea. SvS were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serter Tandoruk took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Serter Tandoruk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Basaik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in SvS's zone, Derman Cruchet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarık Vahapoğlu came out of the goal and Derman Cruchet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ were awarded a corner. Albano Quilino went to the cornerflag to take it. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the SvS defense, Derman Cruchet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarık Vahapoğlu. The SvS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarık Vahapoğlu should have stopped the shot.
