Yakup Kadri Hazret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aureliusz Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ternana calcio fc's Aureliusz Podolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ternana calcio fc from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, CON-E-CO's Mogel Caldeiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mogel Caldeiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CON-E-CO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mogel Caldeiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. CON-E-CO:s Nilson Peres showed great skill when he stopped Ennio Bosso:s penalty. Nilson Peres came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ternana calcio fc's Ennio Bosso. But to his dismay, Ennio Bosso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamiel Stessel in the 22nd minute of play forced ternana calcio fc's goalkeeper Aureliusz Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea De Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Nacho Artiaga in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aureliusz Podolski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, ternana calcio fc's Aureliusz Podolski got control of the ball when Yakup Kadri Hazret tried to sneak it across the goal line. The shot was stopped by Aureliusz Podolski but with some difficulty. Aureliusz Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakup Kadri Hazret, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kamiel Stessel sped through ternana calcio fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliusz Podolski. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Pugliese made a kick off. The supporters of CON-E-CO booed when ternana calcio fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Pugliese didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, CON-E-CO's Nilson Peres got control of the ball when Alvaro Cara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilson Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Punta in the 87th minute. Aureliusz Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamiel Stessel in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamiel Stessel in the 93rd minute of play forced ternana calcio fc's goalkeeper Aureliusz Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match CON-E-CO got a corner. ternana calcio fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yakup Kadri Hazret made a great header on CON-E-CO's corner, it was just that ternana calcio fc's Aureliusz Podolski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 96th match minute, CON-E-CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Artiaga to maneuver through the defense. CON-E-CO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
